Because, if you hadn’t noticed yet, I like posting songs on my blog… ;)

I really like listening to this song when I’m having a hard day (like today). πŸ˜‰ It’s the message of this song that really gets me. Then again, that’s the thing that gets me about almost every song I listen to.

In light of that, here are the lyrics to the song as well. Cause they’re just that awesome. πŸ™‚

How do you know where you’re going
When you don’t know where you’ve been
You hide the shame that you’re not showing
And you won’t let anyone in
A crowded street can be a quiet place
When you’re walking alone
And now you think that you’re the only
One who doesn’t

Have to try
And you won’t have to fail
If you’re afraid to fly
Then i guess you never will
You hide behind your walls
Of maybe nevers
Forgetting that there’s something more
Than just knowing better
Your mistakes do not define you now
They tell you who you’re not
You’ve got to live this life you’re given
Like it’s the only one you’ve got

Memories have left you broken
And the scars have never healed
The emptiness in you is growing
But so little left to feel
You’re scared to look back on the days before
You’re too tired to move on
And now you think that you’re the only one who doesn’t

Have to try
And you won’t have to fail
If you’re afraid to fly
Then i guess you never will
You hide behind your walls
Of maybe nevers
Forgetting that there’s something more
Than just knowing better
Your mistakes do not define you now
They tell you who you’re not
You’ve got to live this life you’re given
Like it’s the only one you’ve got

What would it take
To get you to say that I’ll try
And what would you say if
This was the last day of your life

You hide behind your walls
Of maybe nevers
Forgetting that there’s something more
Than just knowing better
Your mistakes do not define you now
They tell you who you’re not
You’ve got to live this life you’re given
Like it’s the only one you’ve got

You hide behind your walls
Of maybe nevers
Forgetting that there’s something more
Than just knowing better
Your mistakes do not define you now
They tell you who you’re not
You’ve got to live this life you’re given
Like it’s the only one you’ve got

Way to go, 3 Doors Down. πŸ™‚

To boldly go…

It has been said that you can tell a lot about a person by what they have on their bookshelf. This is very true. But I also believe that you can tell a lot about a person by what’s on their movie shelf. Or, for the case of this post, my TV show shelf.

1. Leverage- Season 1.

2. Psych- Seasons 1-3.

3. Monk- Seasons 1-7.

4. Stargate SG-1- Complete Series. (10 seasons)

5. Stargate Atlantis- Complete Series. (5 seasons)

6. Burn Notice- Seasons 1&2. (AWESOME show! :D)

7. Banacek- Season 1. (Kudos to anybody who knows what this show is!)

8. Early Edition- Season 1.

9. Northern Exposure- Season 1.

10. Macgyver- Season 1.

11. Hart to Hart- Season 1. (Again, kudos to anyone who knows what this show is too. πŸ˜‰ )

12. Eureka- Seasons 1&2.

13. Firefly- Complete Series. (1 season)

14. Beauty and the Beast- Complete Series. (3 seasons) For all you Terminator fans out there, this is what Linda Hamilton did after she played Sarah Connor in the first Terminator.

15. Remington Steele- Complete Series. (5 seasons) Pierce Brosnan at his best! I have yet to find something else Stephenie Zimbalist has been in… Here’s a small piece of trivia for you: Efrem Zimbalist Jr, Stephenie Zimbalist’s father, is a Christian! Yaay! πŸ˜€

16. In Plain Sight- Season 1.

… and last but not least!

17. Christy- Season 1. πŸ™‚

So… what can you tell about me from this list? Come on, speak up now. I want to know what you think. πŸ˜€ And if you don’t know one of the shows on this list, then I suggest you discover the magicΒ  of Google. Or Hulu. I would heartily recommend you add every show on this list to your repertoire. πŸ˜‰

Until we meet again.

My mother taught me to share. ;)

Sigh. I feel bad that I didn’t do this sooner. In the last post I mentioned that I had downloaded Monster by Skillet, and it donned on me. “I should put it on the blog!”

So… behold! The amazingness that can only be Skillet. Monster. πŸ˜€

Enjoy! πŸ™‚

Lucy, I’m HOOOME! :P

Gosh, it feels like forever since I’ve been on here. Sigh. 😦

As I said in the previous post, I wasn’t going to be on for awhile. After going to Ruidosa and Sacramento and Colorado Springs, it would be an understatement to say I’m tired. But I have learned so much and have gotten to meet so many awesome people that I wouldn’t trade it for the world. πŸ˜€

One thing I am very happy to announce is that everything crazy that happened the past month went rather smoothly travel wise. Nobody died from bad water in Ruidosa. Nobody died in a plane crash on the way to Sacramento. And nobody died on the trip to Colorado.

… and now I’m back. Life is good. At least, till I leave for my grandparents’ house. But at least I get to be home for two weeks. And the minute I get back, I’m gonna start school again. Ick. 😦

Onto happier topics! I downloaded a couple new songs to my iPod that I’m really excited about. Like Monster by Skillet. It’s amazing!! I’ve already listened to it about 20 times. πŸ˜‰

And onto a little more somber topic, I have found a song (actually it’s been on my iPod for about 2 months but I had never gotten around to listening to it. Eh heh… *nervous chuckle*) that reminds me of many a different time in my life when I first began to realize that love is a dangerous thing. πŸ˜‰

Behold! Boys with Girlfriends by Meiko. πŸ™‚

Btw, I think Meiko is really pretty. πŸ˜‰
